3 sculptures inspired by Mr. and Mrs. Hindle's Aviary at Bold Venture park


Birds in or out of a Birdcage  -  mild steel cage and stainless steel birds-
These birds fly in memory of the aviary that once stood in the park, donated by Mr and Mrs Hindle on the occasion of their Silver Wedding Anniversary in 1901.

 
Pintailed Whydah  -  galvanized mild steel and scrap metal -
The pintailed whydah was one of the 150 exotic birds once housed in the Hindle aviary.
 
 
 
   Silver Pheasant  -  galvanized mild steel bar and scrap metal
Based on the golden pheasant, which was one of the more magnificent birds housed in the Hindle aviary.
